Dr. Norych was a great Spanish tutor, helping me increase my grade by 10 points! I was able to have a better foundation and understanding of Spanish. She always had the materials you needed ready and was on time for every lesson! Her enthusiasm to teach Spanish is very genuine, most tutors are usually not interactive with their students, however, this was not the case. She was also incredibly flexible, being able to help you with whatever you needed, projects, homework, studying concepts, and studying for tests! Her attention to detail was incredible. She was able to notice the little things you needed to study and help with. These key factors really helped my grade in Spanish! She is a great tutor that really helped me out!
In the summer of 2021, I took a Spanish 1 class with Meryl Norych. She was a phenomenal teacher! The class consisted of 5 women from different backgrounds, ages and different levels of the Spanish language. Meryl’s extreme knowledge of the Spanish language was impressive. More importantly however was her enthusiasm and passion not only for the language but for her students. She would bend over backwards to make sure you were understanding the subject matter. She was also very tech savvy. Since we were learning virtually, this was a skill that had to be learned as well. Meryl was not only thorough in her teaching Spanish, but very thorough in making sure all her students learned. This was all done in an easy going, light hearted manner with some laughs along the way. At the end of Spanish 1, the entire class signed up for Spanish ll. Meryl made the classes fun and interesting. I’m still always looking to see if there will be a continuation of any of the Spanish classes with Meryl. If there are, sign me up!
As someone who is envious of individuals that are bi and trilingual I was excited but nervous in taking the leap to learn a new language in my adult years. My fears were quickly laid to rest when I started Señora Norych’s class. Her passion to teach and love of language was evident immediately. Even though the class was taught virtually I was deeply involved in her explanations and evaluations of the students strengths and assessments of knowledge. She provided constructive feedback to enhance my knowledge. Would highly recommend her course , you will not be disappointed.
Thank you so much for helping my husband perfect his English. While he knew some English, he didn’t feel confident at all, and needed to learn more. As I stated, he is currently living in Florence, Italy, and plans to reunite with his family in New Jersey, soon. Your accommodation to our Summer schedule, and attention to detail was on point, and we truly appreciated it.
